Aringay to Baguio Railway System: The remains

The remains of Aringay and Asin Tunnels—among the 5 tunnels built by a British Company to connect La Union to Baguio city through supposed 40km railway system—-with 3 stations leading to Baguio City from Aringay, La Union—between 1911 and 1913 after the construction of Kennon Road.

The ambitious project was abandoned due to financial crisis, costly right of way, miscalculation and mismanagement before the outbreak of World War I.
