FLAT TIRE ON CHRISTMAS DAY

It is still not too late to commend the patrol crew who assisted me when my tire broke down along the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) on the afternoon of Christmas Day.
Driving with a flat tire on expressways, especially on Christmas Eve when most people are on leave and the majority of offices are closed, is neither easy nor safe. However, thanks to the dedicated NLEX patrol crew—R. Avila (male) and I. Fajardo (female)—who arrived just in time along the 5-kilometer Candaba Viaduct, I received the necessary assistance in a place where getting stranded is extremely dangerous.

For this patrol crew, Christmas Day was just like any other workday. Their dedication, diligence, and agility in assisting motorists in times of need are truly commendable. Their selfless service deserves recognition and emulation.

I deeply appreciate these good Samaritans, who refused any financial reward for their help. I would also like to extend my gratitude to the North Luzon Expressway Management for training and deploying such highly skilled individuals to assist motorists.

A snappy salute to all of you!
