Shooting Blindfolded

Firing blindfolded using panga-panga (tree branches) to simulate night firing is an innovative military technique employed by army soldiers these days. It gives the troops manning the post vantage point to zero in on enemy positions raiding at night.

The author is being assisted by his comrade during the limited Warfighting Competency Training in Tanza, Cavite

Also, this technique is an efficient way to save considerable bullets compared with aimless shooting in the line of fire.

After this course, I hit the target close if not bullseye.

Primarily, this technique tests the accuracy and speed of the soldiers in responding against enemy raid especially during night time.
