Early in her sports career, Ednaly Calitis Hualda made her mark as a national-level coach and referee, becoming the youngest Judo Coach and Referee in her field.
In 2009, Hualda shifted her focus to cycling, kickstarting her career with LPGMA and American Vinyl.
Initially, she served as a Strength and Conditioning Coach, where she worked alongside Renato Dolosa, a two-time Marlboro Tour Champion.
By 2013, Hualda had taken on a leadership role, managing and coaching 7-Eleven Road Bike Philippines. She also served as the Assistant Team Director, overseeing prominent cyclists such as Cris Joven, Rudy Roque, Rustom Lim, Ronnel Hualda, and Brian Sepnio. Under her leadership, 7-Eleven Road Bike Philippines clinched the overall team classification title at the third edition of LBC Ronda Pilipinas in 2013.
In 2015, Hualda took a bold step by founding her own cycling team, Cebu Kopiko, alongside Amis Urjel. That same year, she also coached teams from Malaysia and Brunei in a concurrent capacity.
The following year, in 2016, Hualda’s career took another turn when her husband, Ronnel Hualda, introduced her to Mr. Jeremy Go, owner of the Gold For Gold team, marking the beginning of a significant chapter in her coaching journey.
With nearly a decade of experience in cycling, Hualda’s expertise extends beyond coaching. At one point, she even worked as a Call Center Manager, showcasing her versatility.

Hualda, who also served as the Head of the Secretariat for the Integration Cycling Federation of the Philippines (PhilCycling), is renowned for her extensive strategies and techniques. Her skills were further recognized in 2019, when PhilCycling appointed her as the Head Coach of the Philippine National Cycling Team for the 30th Southeast Asian Games.
Currently, Coach Edz Hualda serves as the Project Director of Go For Gold, under the guidance of sports patron and Powerball Vice President, Mr. Jeremy Go, who founded the Go For Gold Sports Program in 2002.
