Ryan Tugawin, a proud native of Solano, Nueva Vizcaya, embarked on his professional cycling journey at the age of 23 in 2013, fueled by passion and determination. His first major challenge came when he participated in the LBC Ronda Pilipinas, a premier cycling tour in the Philippines, under the banner of Enrile Team. During this inaugural experience, Ryan made a significant impact by clinching the first runner-up position in lap four, staged in the beautiful Cebu Province. This was just the beginning of what would become an inspiring journey in the world of cycling.
As the years went by, Tugawin continued to hone his skills and push his limits. In 2019, he reached a remarkable milestone as an all-Filipino podium finisher, securing the 1st runner-up spot in the first-ever UCI-sanctioned LBC Ronda Pilipinas ninth edition race held in the Panay Region. This achievement showcased his resilience and commitment to the sport, earning him recognition as a formidable competitor in the cycling community.
Ryan’s talent shone even brighter in the LBC Ronda Pilipinas 2020, where he emerged as a lap 2 winner during the Legazpi City stage. His triumphs and dedication have not only inspired fellow cyclists but also motivated aspiring athletes in his hometown and beyond.
Now at 32 years old, Ryan Tugawin continues to defy the odds and chase his dreams. Under the guidance of Excellent Noodles’ top honcho, Mr. Alexander Billan, Ryan is poised to take on new challenges and further his cycling career.
