Mr. Ricardo “Ric” Rodriguez, the venerable 7-Eleven Sports Director, is the founder of the first professional cycling team (Casino Filipino) and the first Continental team (formerly trade team) in the Philippines.
Moreover, Mr. Rodriguez, a native of Tarlac Province, is likewise the former LBC Ronda Pilipinas race director from 2011-2015.
Expectedly, the 15-year-old Continental team, which Engineer Bong Sual founded after Mark Guevarra (now Mark Galedo) won the Tour of Luzon in 2009, will join the slugfest in San Leonardo Cycling Challenge 2024 on 23 May 2024.
