The Manx Missile, Mark Cavendish, 39, signed an autograph on a cycling jersey handed to him by Whelan Rab Itong in the Land of the Emirates.

Cavendish, a ruthless sprinter, is reportedly set to retire after 17 years showcasing his skills in Tour de France with 35 stage wins, surpassing Eddy Merckx’s record in 2021.
Interestingly, Itong was born in 2007, the same year Cavendish made his debut at the Tour de France, a race watched by 150 million Europeans, underscoring the remarkable journey from one generation to the next in the world of cycling.
