Batang Pinoy Criterium 2024 gold medalist Jomel Delos Reyes boasts an impressive track record, including a bronze medal in the National Youth Criterium and a gold medal in his age category at the Go For Gold Race Series this year.
At just 15, Delos Reyes has emerged as a game-changer and trailblazer in the local cycling scene. Hailing from Umingan, Pangasinan, he chose to represent La Union in Batang Pinoy for several factors.
As a townmate of Mervin Corpuz, he greatly admires Corpuz’s cycling abilities and dreams of racing alongside him in the United Arab Emirates in the coming years.
The Umingan Tomahawk likewise secured 4th place individually at the Lumba Tamu Zambales race this year, where his close-knit team the Tarlac-based Team Aurum claimed the championship.
