The Forgotten Track: A Glimpse into Quezon City’s Velodrome Legacy

The Quezon City Velodrome at the Amoranto Sports Complex once stood on a 5.8-hectare property, featuring a 350-meter concrete track built in 1966 and inaugurated by then-President Ferdinand Marcos. The decommissioned velodrome, once a premier national venue, was last used for competition during the 2005 Southeast Asian Games and the 2013 Philippine National Games.
