Joshua Pascual sits within striking distance of Thailand’s Thanakhan Chaiyasombat, trailing by just 1:24, as the team’s Directeur Sportif Ric Rodriguez sets sights on a top-three finish.
The Thailand powerhouse, Thanakhan Chaiyasombat, nicknamed Frame, is currently 3rd in Best Asian standings. A former ITT silver medalist at the 30th SEA Games in Tagaytay City—an international event covered on the ground by Dwaentertainment in 2019—Chaiyasombat has continued to impress on the international circuit. Last year, Frame claimed both the Best Asian and Best ASEAN classifications while finishing second overall at the Tour of Thailand.
Meanwhile, teammate Joseph Bora Javiniar lags behind Thailand’s national pride, Chaiyasombat, by 4:26.
With the race wide open and every rider vulnerable to a bad day, the battle for the Best Asian honors is far from settled.
