Luke Burns Got Burned Early—Out After Stage 2 Of PLTDL

Australian reinforcement Luke Burns failed to make an impression for 7-Eleven Road Bike Philippines in the PETRONAS Le Tour de Langkawi, bowing out after Stage 2. His withdrawal slipped past the spotlight.

After a modest finish at 96th in the GC on opening day, Burns was listed DNF the next stage, cutting short his campaign.

“He came unprepared for the top-level UCI ProSeries Tour,” admitted Directeur Sportif Ric Rodriguez, confirming the Australian’s early exit from the lineup.
