Raphy Quirante | The Unsung Hero Of The Philippine Cycling Delegation at the 3rd Asian Youth Games

Without the invaluable effort of a well-known bike mechanic in Kingdom of Bahrain, Mr. Raphy Quirante, the Good Samaritan who was earlier referred by Head Coach delos Reyes as kababayan, the 16-minute+ delay of the National Cycling Team for the Team Time Trial at the 3rd Asian Youth Games (AYG) would have ballooned into an insurmountable time deficit—possibly a complete disqualification.

Mr. Quirante is truly an unsung hero of the Philippine delegation. Kudos to him!
