Jonel Carcueva is now officially bannering the crimson-themed 7-Eleven jersey since the rumored transfer from MPT DRIVEHUB and 7-Eleven’s determined effort to sign many star riders.
The former 3-consecutive national road race titlist is one of several key riders from different teams who jumped ship to 7-Eleven Road Bike Philippines early this November. The team is the first and the longest-running Continental team founded in the Philippines in 2009.
Likewise, Carcueva shares a notable affinity with fellow contemporary rider El Joshua Cariño for stage 5 victories. In 2022, he seized the coveted LBC Ronda Pilipinas red jersey on stage 5 and again the combativity red jersey in MPTC Tour of Luzon 2025 stage 5.
