Victoria Sports Pro Cycling rising star, Darius John Villaseñor (a former Dandex rider), is the overall champion of the Larga Pilipinas People’s Race (Pro-Elite).

A former two-time national ITT champion (youth and junior), Villaseñor reversed the margin to take the overall title from Marcryan Lago, after his relentless domination of the Sitio Baag stage.
Notably, Villaseñor, a Larga Pilipinas 18-below (Palayan City) road race champion, outclassed rival Mervin Corpuz in their signature terrain and Corpuz’s foreign teammate Daniel Guld, while also breaking the spell or dominance of Marcryan Lago in his 7-year Larga participations.
This victory evidently serves a major evidence that the the Philippine cycling scene is now being dominated by the young guns of this time, fundamentally changing the current reality in the local racing circuit.
