Placido “The Flash” Valdez confirms his attendance at the inaugural masters category, National Road Championships, this February in Tagaytay City.

The 57-year-old legendary cyclist, known for his death-defying stunt, 120 kph, on Marcos Highway, Benguet in 1994, is returning to “race-weight,” currently weighing 128 lbs—up by 3 lbs compared to his Marlboro Tour heyday—in preparation for the Tagaytay terrain.
