Arvin Armendez | Forever A Champion and A Legend at 19

Today, 29 January 2026, we celebrate the 19th birthday of Pangasinan’s “tough cookie,” Arvin Armendez.

His impressive cycling career began at the tender age of 11—not even in his teens.

The formidable cycling prodigy from Urdaneta City exploded onto the scene in 2018, securing five medals in Baguio City: two golds in MTB and three silvers in road cycling (ITT, Criterium, and road race).

In 2022 and 2023, Armendez continued his dominance, reigning supreme across various categories in national competitions and consistently claiming the top spot on the podium.
