Gapyeong Cycling Expresses Interest in Expanded 2026 Tour of Luzon

Dwaentertainment recently reached out to Gapyeong Cycling team manager Oh Kil Wan regarding the expanded stages of the 2026 Tour of Luzon. When asked if the formidable Korean squad would return for the upcoming edition, Oh responded: ‘I would be delighted to attend if invited. Thank you very much.’

Historical note: It must be noted that Korean riders have been a fixture of Tour of Luzon history since the early 1960s. Joo Dae Yeong’s stunning 2025 victory—secured by a razor-thin 6-second margin—stands as the pinnacle of Korean achievement in the fabled Tour’s history. This surpassed the previous historical “high-water mark” set in 1962 by fellow compatriot Kim Ho Soon, who finished as the overall runner-up, just 103 seconds behind in the overall GC of the legendary grand winner, Edmundo De Guzman of Pangasinan.
