Joo Dae Yeong won a silver medal at the 106th Korea National Sports Festival in October 2025.

The only cyclist who managed to trim to that commanding advantage was Mervin Corpuz, who cut the deficit, 1:56, in the latter part of the tour and even virtually dominated Joo by 40 seconds during the final stage.
