Alejado’s Unstoppable Rise | Owning the ITT & National Women Junior Cycling

Showing year-on year athletic progression, the emerging Ilongga junior powerhouse, Maria Louise Criselle “Tash” Java Alejado, became the only rider across both men’s and women’s classes to capture all three gold medals in different categories at the National Road Championships 2026.

Born on 3 May 2009, Alejado is a native of Mandurriao, Iloilo, and stands 5’1″. Her breakout performance in national cycling began at Batang Pinoy 2022 in Vigan City, where she captured two silver medals in criterium and road race and a bronze in the ITT.

The following year, at the 2023 National Championships for Road, bannering One Team Iloilo, Alejado stunned her youth category as she amassed two gold medals in the two youth categories.

In the 2024 Nationals edition, representing Philippine Navy Standard Insurance, Alejado defended her ITT title and wound up with the silver medal in the criterium.

Last year, as an individual rider, Alejado conquered both the criterium and the ITT, making the ITT her calling card or signature event and completing a “three-peat feat” in the National ITT championship.

In October 2025, Alejado achieved strong placements at the Asian Youth Games 2025 in the Kingdom of Bahrain, finishing 13th in the ITT and 11th in the road race.

Certainly, Tash Alejado is set to to be the next ITT Queen.
