No Team Vehicle? No Problem

At the grassroots level in the Philippines, many local teams operate under resource constraints, often resorting to makeshift transport like tricycles to bring their bikes to race venues.

This is where the “diskarte,” “will to win,” and raw passion of our local cyclists—from the unheralded greenhorns to the seasoned professionals—are truly forged.

For them, the road is the ultimate “equalizer”—lahat pantay-pantay dito; no amount of resources can equal one’s grittiness and determination. It is not rocket science.

Truly, these so-called “pandayo” cyclists are highly commendable because they bite the bullet. Snappy salute!
