A FoodPanda delivery rider shattered Jan Paul Morales’s nearly two-decade national record in the Flying Start 200m event.
Zedric Honorica, a 21-year-old fixie rider and Marinduque native hailing from Marikina City, clocked 10.865 seconds—overwhelming the 11.424-second record Morales set in Doha 2006 (XV Asian Games).

A Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Marikina 3rd year college student, taking BS Entrepreneurship, he is the second of four children; his father works as a security guard and his mother as a cashier.
Honorica had remarkably little preparation for this event. After ranking second in the power test early this year, he only began training at the Tagaytay CT Velodrome earlier this month.
