Corpuz Ignites Taiwan KOM Challenge 2026

7-Eleven engine Mervin Corpuz takes center stage, winning the 2-kilometer individual time trial (ITT) at the Taiwan KOM Challenge 2026.

Corpuz recently renewed his contract with 7-Eleven and will join the team’s 2027 roster, which will include 16 riders, six of whom are foreign nationals. This was confirmed by 7-Eleven Sports Director Ric Rodriguez.

Currently, 7-Eleven Road Bike Philippines is the highest-ranked Philippine continental team in the 2026 UCI Asia Tour rankings.

Tomorrow, November 2, 2026, the four-man 7-Eleven squad will battle it out over a 200-kilometer coastal route in Taiwan, with the race scheduled to start at 6 a.m.
